Actually it is. I know there are written rules and unwritten rules, but Jaime was not in the wrong here. My only problem is, Jaime, if you're gonna hit someone, hit him hard. That pitch was 6 5 mph. It was fast enough to get Everett's ego up, but that doesn't take much for Jurraisic Neal Everett.
TheFreak and Wasabi: Actually, the rules mandate that the batter must be fully inside the batters box as the ball passes the plate. Everett always is at this point. He begins his swing from outside the batters box. Nobody's quite sure if this violates the rules or not, but since it's not explicitly banned, and most teams don't object, I don't think there's a real problem with it. Intentional beanings have resulted in suspensions this year.
