Well, there was that radio interview where JVG said he might go with a 14 man roster.

 

This means Sura's on the way back. No way do they cut Jacobson if they think Sura will never play again.

 

Seems they are either showing Sura some respect or genuinely believe in his progress (and worried about the readiness of JL and Spanoulis). Maybe a bit of both.

Well, good luck to Bob, I would not be suprised, though if he does declare retirement at some point and there's a need for another SG that Jacobsen comes back. The same thing happened to Hayes last season, too.

 

Was there ever any doubt Novak would make the team????? Duh.

 

Question: If Sura is not too return, does he have to be on the roster to be traded? It seems to me that Sura's contract, which could potentially be traded for real help at the deadline, might be more valuable than Bowen, and would definitely be more valuable than Jacobsen.

Yeah, I think that was pretty much decided when he got a three-year deal.

This may mean that the Rockets are in negos. with Sura and his agent for a buy out or waiting until Dec. to get disability compensation in the form of salary off the cap.
