i agree that sura's retireing would allow the team to use the TE without going over the LT, but wouldn't it be better to spend that money by using the MLE in the summer. you can get a much better player that way.

the big TE will probably just expire unless we are among the nba's elite come the deadline and we want a trade to put us over the top.

again i'm not sure about getting any TE for sura's retirement. can you tell me why you are sure about it?

bowen't contract would help with trades, but JVG would never trade him. he would never cut him.

if ryan bowen stays on the team, that means he cuts into novak's minutes. what a shame

Bowen is heading to IR, if he stays.

I'm gonna agree with the guess that Jacobsen and Sura are gone.

Jacobsen really hasn't shown anything from what I've seen, and his shot is definitely not deadly. He's got a line of guards in front of him anyhow with Bonzi, Snyder, and Head.

They'll let Sura go, and if he does make it back they can sign him later in the season.

Bowen is only on the team because he is a guaranteed contract. They'll let him go later if they need to.

So I'm wondering if JVG will have to address his statement about how Bowen will always have a job in the NBA as long as he's a coach.

And do Bowen and Jacobsen both have guaranteed contracts?
