That's hilarious. I wonder if he lost 10 pounds trying to master those thighs.

Or wake me up when Mac needs a breather.

Kidding aside, I still think he's going to help us big time. He might wind up the 6th man award.

Everyone who wants to cut him some slack and give him a fresh start here, despite his past behavior, should consider this incident his slack. I'd have him on a extremely low tolerance from now on.

HAH! After what we did to Swift, this should be the last thing CD/Morey would want to do. No one, I repeat no one will take a pay cut to contend with the Rockets if we trade Wells. T-Mac and Yao attracted both Stromile and Bonzi. The Rockets organization will be thought of as the team who screws over players who try to help them.

Next year is a big year in the FA market. We should avoid trading Bonzi at all costs if we want a quality player/star to sign for just the MLE.

BTW, love the quotes and the club pic...Bonzi at PF?

NBA players hopefully have a lick of sense. Anyone could see that Swift was lost out there half the time. If Wells gets traded it will be because he is not helping the team. If trading him drives away other guys that are trying to use the Rockets for a short time to showcase themselves, I consider it an added benefit. You certainly want to get bargains, but you want to get bargains that are actually helping the team, like when Barkley played for $1 million.

Sure, Swift took less money to come here, but then he didn't even play up to the MLE contract we gave him (he was beat out for starting PF by Juwan Howard for God's sake). If Wells comes here and keeps acting like a knucklehead, then you ship his ass outta town and put players on notice that we want you to come here, but only if you are willing to put in the work.

    Yo Stu-Mon -

I'm with you. While I think the ROX Mgmt needs to do everything within reason to make sure Bonzi has a positive ROX experience as a Bargain Free Agent, we don't need to put up with MAX Bullsh*t along the way.

As long as the league sees the ROX front office working to improve the team in legitimate ways, I don't think we'll be in danger of missing out on available free agents.

Signings are going to be based on two things above and beyond ALL ELSE:

    1. $$$

    2. Chance at a ring!!

For any Free Agent Mike James A**holes out there, the ROX shouldn't even sniff in their direction!!

As for Bonzi as a head case.... yeah, I think he's gonna be an issue at times this season, but with the positive attitudes that our team leaders bring, and the lack of other jerks to "blend in with" Bonzi will HAVE to keep his crap to a minimum or he'll be driving his own F.A. status into the floor!!
