We need shooters, Novak is a shooter.

    Vote for Novak.

I would like to pick GAY, he has the potential to be an all star, he can create shoots himself.
Novak is a pure shooter. But I like what he did in the pre-season games.

I am a little surprise with the poll result and the response. Most people missed all the :p and :D in the poll question and took it too serious.

The conclusion I got from this poll:
There are lots of emotion imvolved and lots furious responses from Gay supporters, calling this comparision 'stupid' while the poll result tells a different story.. Novak supporters tend to be rational and quiet. Emotional people have more dream about the future while rational people care more about now. Make sense.

Novak 'should' be a better fit for now while Gay definately has more potential in the future but imho, Gay is a star potential swingman, we already had one of the best swingman in T-Mac so I guess Novak 'could' be a better fit for now. I believe Gay will get gots of oppotunities this year and may likely produce some very good stats that will make Gay supporters even more furious but let's not forget he is with the Grizzlies. Pau is out for a few months and they will be flighting for a playoff spot if they are lucky. Its a good time to give Gay more PT but if Gay is with the Rocket, he would be getting much less PT while I guess Novak may play more than him as Novak has a special purpose on the floor, 3p shooting.

Why do we need this poll? Check the facts!

The Era of Shaq was ending, The Era of Vak is beginning.

(By the way, does anyone remember when Jon Koncak played for Orlando with Shaquille O'Neal? Some announcers called him "Cak", which I found amusing)

This is the same line of thinking that got Cato a very large contract
    Let the season start first

Rationally speaking, the obvious choice would be Gay, on ANY GM's draft board. Emotionally speaking would be picking Novak because of his great preseason so far, yet even though thats only a few PRESEASON games. Basically everyones on Novak's bandwagon now and that's great because I like him too but objectively speaking Gay should be picked over Novak EVERY SINGLE TIME if both are still on the draft pool.
