Title says it all, I would like to see how all the new players are doing, stats wise. But, I can't find the preseason stats anywhere. Thanks. DD
Here's one: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/schedule?team=hou (click on any of the scores in the RESULTS column in table "2006-2007 Pre-Season Schedule & Results", near the top of the page) The latest game is not there yet, but you can find it elsewhere, like this one: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=261018010 EDIT: the boxscore for the latest game was just added to the first link above.
Clutch, Any way we can get these up on the site? I would love to see the shooting percentages etc of our new players. Thanks, DD
3pt shooting for first 5 games: Rafer Alston----7/13 for 53.8% woohoo, all the hard work is showing! Scott Padgett--6/12 for 50.0% great, keep it up Steve Novak--14/29 for 48.3% awesome, keep it up Luther Head----8/18 for 44.4% great and expected Shane Battier--4/10 for 40.0% expected, his makes were only from the baselines Kirk Snyder----5/14 for 35.7% what i expected JL3------------3/13 for 23.1% not so good, but probably won't get much time either T-Mac---------1/07 for 14.3% I think and hope he's just rusty V-Span--------1/09 for 11.1% he knows he is weak here and needs to improve
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/hou/schedule Everyone's high on snyder at the moment but his inconsistent shot is worrying. FGA vGrizz 2-7 vHawks 5-10 vDal 2-8 vMil 5-7 vSpurs 2-8
here comes Shane's blog: http://blog.sina.com.cn/u/4b2b253e01000626#sort_0 but I'm not sure if it's Shane himself who will keep updating. I mean, the articles are posted at 4 or 5 am US time. ...
i'm impressed with the 3pt%'s of the guys posted above. it seems that shane, nova, padgett will all be able to spread the floor well. snyder and rafer have also purprised me with thier shooting. tmac has been just awefull. he needs to start getting 30MPG the rest of the way so he can get back on track.
The team is shooting 38.1% from 3pt land during the preseason. Casey Jacobsen and Kelena Azuibuike are 2 of 9. Subtract that when they're cut and we're 39.2%. That would be 2nd in the league last year. (Phoenix @39.9%)
