Alot of the stuff being mentioned here (like the Adult Swim stuff) probably doesn't qualify as 'cartoons' as you might be thinking of them.

Just from some of your posts I've read, I would think you might find a lot of it funny as hell, but to each his own.

And Oski, my list is pretty much yours. And Venture Bros. rocks.

    No love for the Tick?

Family Guy (pre-cancellation/return...the new stuff doesn't strike me as being the same)
Futurama (out of FG and Futurama, I would rather have had Futurama return)
    TMNT
    Transformers

    Others soon to come...

I stand my my first post as my original favorite childhood shows.

Totally forgot about more adult shows, Family Guy is definitely the funniest show on the air today, IMO. I also love Futurama and Moral Orel.

Cartoons? That's my kinda topic! :)

    Old School Faves:

    Darkwing Duck
    DuckTales
    Ninja Turtles
    TaleSpin
    Batman: TAS
    Superman: TAS
    X-Men: TAS
    Spider-Man:TAS
Gargoyles (Had a more complicated storyline than most "adult" shows on television.)
    Tiny Toons
    Animaniacs
    The Tick (Spoooooon!! :D)

    Recently Axed:

Justice League Unlimited (As I've said before, the end of the 14 year, 7 show, DC animated universe that started with B:TAS 'sniff' :( )

    Teen Titans
    X-Men: Evolution
    Fairly OddParents
    Static Shock
    Batman: Beyond

    New School:

Avatar: The Last Airbender, Nick (GREAT show. Really in depth storyline and badass fight scenes have gotten it more teen/adult fans than kids and keeps it at the top of Nick's ratings)

TMNT: 4Kids/Fox (The lost episodes that have been airing on On Demand, not the "Fast Forward" crap)

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Cartoon Network

Danny Phantom Nick (Guilty pleasure. I wish the characters had been given one more season for development/closure though. Nick sucks. sometimes.)

The Batman Kids WB (Finally starting to grow on me, unlike the craptastic Legion of Super Heroes and Loonatics: Unleashed)

    Anime:

    FLCL
Inuyasha (Very disappointed with the way this ended, though. The damn manga is still going strong)

    Naruto
    FullMetal Alchemist
    Ghost in the Shell

    Comedies:

Venture Brothers (funniest animated show on television, bar none)
    Family Guy
    Futurama
    Simpsons
Aqua Teen (sometimes. I've gotten tired of seeing the same episodes over and over, though)

    Classics:
    Tom and Jerry
    Looney Tunes
    Mighty Mouse
The Fleischer Superman Shorts (They just don't make animation this fluid anymore)
Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (hilarious and ahead of its time)

    ----

Well, that's my list. Kinda long, I guess, but cartoons Kick ass. I love 'em!
