Anyone else think Clyde's laugh sounds identical to Dr. Hibbert on The Simpson's? (takeoff on Dr. Huckstable (sp.?) - from the Cosby show)

I have no problem with Clyde. Other than his over optimistic comments. He's not necessarily a homer either, but he says that about everyone. But i gotta give him props. There aren't so many optimistic people anymore.

Clyde isn't a very good broadcaster. He used the same phrases every single game. AI like Clyde, but I really want Calvin back as well.

anyone think that this commentary is worse off than if they played the live sound effects of the game/players.

Drexler sounds like he's trying to do color for a bunch of 1st graders. Personally I don't think he's progressed AT ALL as a color man.

I reallly want Calvin back, but I'm starting to give up hope. I just don't think it's going to happen.

i'd rather have a fan commentating that this boring duo.. TNT has a good cast.. we need someone like Marv Albert and his "T-mac just sucked the gravity right out of the building!"

    where are those people...

i think we'd be better off if they used the recorded commentary from nba2k7.

Other than his crappy voice, Clyde is doing pretty darn good job. I have no problem with him being Rockets color commentator.

    I've seen much worse.

so who wants keep track of the amount of times he says "seasoned veteran" this season? i'll take the over on 150.

clyde is EXACTLY the same as he was last year. boring and extremely uninsightful. for someone who was such a fantastic player, you'd think he could offer something as far as commentary. maybe that's why there aren't any great nba players who are commentators, game was too easy and they didn't have to think as much, can't relate that to other people.

He doesn't say anything that makes you think he has more than a casual knowledge about the game. And his optimism is annoying.
