I've heard from someone that the Rockets are using this as a ploy just to hold things off just to piss off Fegan. All the clients involved are his, Shandon, Eisley and Bogues so that makes some sense.

Look for the deal to go through tomorrow as planned.

Someone told me that Les is holding it up because Rice apparently will not agree to having a mandated veggie diet as part of his contract.

They are compromising on meat substitutes right now so expect the deal to be done tomorrow. :p

    Old School,

You're a bonafide poster and scoop master, but you got to give us more to go on. How do you know this?

Whether that's true or not, its having that effect. I hope the Rocks get an extra first. With Hill signing in Europe, we should get some extra compensation.

From someone who knows someone. You know darn well the scoop masters don't out their sources! Fegan is pissed because all of this is holding up his commision...he doesn't get paid until his clients get paid.

I just wonder if this is going to screw Moochies chances of coming back.

For how many years did Hill sign with that team in France? Did the Rockets even get a chance to talk to him?

As long as we end up giving the "right amount" of money to Moochie,I think he will will be back. I hope that we can get him to resign with us.

I am sure a lot of fans think that it is best to give him and Fegan the money. I would rather see him gone then to kiss Fegans ass, he is not as important as some would make him out to be. IMO

I think sending a message to Fegan is more important then keeping Moochie, he has faith in his man Fegan so let him live with the deal Fegan makes for him somewhere else.

It would make NO SENSE to hurt Moochie, a guy who wants to stay here, and to hurt the team just to fulfill what would amount a petty vendetta against an agent. How would the players on the team, guys like Francis and Mobley who seem to like Moochie think knowing that management screwed over Moochie just to payback his agent? Moochie is a solid back-up PG, and player, and fits into the team and helps with chemistry, and to screw him over and weaken our already thinning guard rotation just to screw over and agent is potential suicide.

If Les can get more compensation and screw Fegan over, more power to him. I hope this sends a message. I also hope that Moochie signs with the Rockets. If nothing else this has given us something to talk about. The summer sure would be boring if the Rockets did not make any trades.
