I think we will only need Bonzi for the stretch run and the postseason anyways, we have enough depth at 2-guard to take this hit. Even without Bonzi I thought this team was good enough to win 50 games, all I care about is Mcgrady and Yao.
Mattj and Adam are on AM610 from 6pm-10pm weekdays, which would be 7pm-11pm in Orlando. It seems like the first hour (or even 1/2 hour) almost always has Rockets talk and news. You can forget it on most Mondays, which is all about the Texans game (of course).

Wells doesn't even come close to being some of the felonious thugs in the NBA and until he's been proven disruptive there's nothing we know about that even hints he's not been doing what he's asked to. Oh, and hoyasrocketfan by referring to Bonzi as DAII, well I'm sure winning a ring playing for Riley (JVG's mentor who forced out his brother) after being cut by JVG is really going to be a deterrent for Bonzi. "personal reasons" is just a blanket statement. it could mean anything or nothing. bonzi didn't pass the physical when he signed. his groin injury has also been a reason why he's missed practices. it shouldn't be surprising if he is still injured.

I was 100% kidding on that post. My expectation was the "real" reason would be announced shortly afterwards. It hasn't so I'm waiting just like everyone else. It's understandable why some are skeptical on Bonzi over this, but I'm not ready to bury him based on nothing. I WILL bury him if he's flaking off again.

you know i actually only listen to them for a little more than an hour a week, simply because i'm not tuned into the radio for most of their show. i don't really notice the problem but too much adam to me is still better than rich and mark.

im sure there will be enough time to mesh with the rest of the team. besides, as long as he is game shape by playoffs, would should be good. you dont want to depend on him too much now do you?
we don't need to depend on him too much either way. I love Bonzi's game, and been waiting and waiting to see him on the court playing alongside T-mac and yao, and playing with the second unit as the main scorer but.. Rafer ( 8-10 apg easy with a healthy squad, practicing his threes) Snyder ( I don't see this guy regressing or losing his head with JVG) T-mac Battier (Mr. Intangibles,instructed before this, to shoot more, with coach's confidence) Yao Guys, with no more lingering injuries.. we can make 50-55 with that starting five.. With a bench rotation of: Head ( more than capable of a 6th man nomination this season) Hayes Padgett Novak Deke Vspan (aslong as he keeps playing well and improving enough to solidify himself as the backup pg) we can still take on Dallas and the Spurs more than aptly. But, i agree.. Bonzi would've elevated us to a whole different level of dangerous. Just remember, we're more than fine without him, if that's ever the case.. god forbidding. More likely, we're only going to be without him for just the first portion of the season.
guys, maybe wells found out from JVG that he won't be a starter but the 6th man off the bench. That's why he was pissed and "said leaving for few days" same can be true about head, who probably lost min to vspan.
Seriously guys~ who give it a SH_T!! 1) The guy's here to play for a BIG CONTRACT next year! 2) He'd be begging JVG for playing time because of reason no. (1) 3) He just moved to Houston, give the man a break man, I would want sometime to settle my stuff too! It's better to getting things done and ready to role before regular season!!! 4) Don't you guys see him like Dennis Rodman ? As long as he KILLS opponents when we need him to, who cares what he does!!? Don't you know Mr #91 use to s_x whole night before NBA Finals!!?
