Only gay people don't mow their own lawn: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=117313&highlight=lawn
my other post was going to be... well we knew you were gay but we didn't know you were a necrophiliac
Just curious...where did this come from? Was it posted on a website or something??? In other words...link please!
They have a link to nogaymarriage.com on their site. Someone probably saw this, called them or emailed them and mentioned their partner or whatever, knowing they would get a reaction, and then spread the reaction around to as many places as possible.
They don't want to work for homosexuals. They can choose who they work for. Anyone that has a problem with that doesn't have to hire them. The problem works itself out. In the end, the business they lose from decent folk would most likely hurt them more than the business they gain from jerks who agree with them.
It's getting passed around via email. Here is some more of the contex of the email with additional contextual information as I recieved it. This is a straight cut and paste. I can forward the email to you if you like. I post the whole bit with enough of a name that you can figure it out, only because the original people are trying to pass it around as much as possible. I removed the guy's email address. As the finish date draws near, we've begun the process of looking for a landscape designer. Please see below for the note we received from one of the companies we contacted. I'm still shocked at the ignorance that exists in today's society. Hopefully, you'll choose never to patronize their business, and will ask the same from your friends and family. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Garden Guy Inc < gardenguyinc@earthlink.net> Date: October 18, 2006 9:08:36 AM CDT To: *censored*@houston.rr.com Subject: Cancel Appt -Garden Guy Dear Mr. Lord, I am appreciative of your time on the phone today and glad you contacted us. Sorry for not providing the link earlier. You can actually view this directly from the Garden Guy's website by clicking on the banner with the birds on the bottom. That takes you to his Gardening forum where this is the main topic of discussion now. Here is the link to get there directly: http://216.30.130.70/cgi-bin/yabb/g...;action=display;num=1161213225;start=58#58.
This is becoming more and more common with these religious zealots. I am gay, and I have had these types of run-ins with potential employers, but not anything like this. I have gone to some interviews where everything was going well, until they start picking up on the vibes. Then it's all: "We feel that we need to go in a different direction". Obviously they aren't going to say "We don't hire homosexuals", but I get the point. All the discrimination I have experienced has been in person. Refusing service based on a telephone conversation is definitley a new thing to me. I mean, I have many straight friend that sound sweet on the phone and could definitely be mistaken for being gay.
