I like "The Punisher", because as soon as you see him knock back a few threes the nickname makes sense. Besides, there's no reason a nickname has to be a variation of or rhyme with the real name, but since that's how it's going right now, how about "Steve Noback" (as in no backboard) or "Stevie Threevy" (apologies if that one's been done) ?
how about " Novak-on-crack" ?? no guys .. just kiddin'.. I would say something like "Stee-vak" you know, to go with "tee-mac" I can already see Bill Worrell & Clyde going: Bill: Stee-vak high pick-and-roll with T-mac.. T-mac to Stee-vak, nothing but net.. u net it's just like a lay-up folks Clyde: Stee-vak can fire up threes just like lay-ups bill..
I'm really liking Swish, Swish Novak, it's just got a great sound about it. Also quite partial to vanilla killa, it's good for a chuckle.
Steve "The Brick" Novak. It's an acquired taste. C'mon, you know you like it Thought of a few others, too.. all along the warfare theme: Arty - as in artillery ICBM - self-explanatory Paveway - after the precision bomb
You guys can call him whatever you want, for me the guy is set as: Steve NoFu*k Here are some some PG-13 ones that I liked Cash The Accountant (precision and nerdiness in one package)
I also like the Nachbar puns: Steve NoBok Of course we should not associate the guy with a failure. It is more of a diss to nachbar...
Anyway we can get a poll going to get his new nickname?? I like Swish Rainmaker Sniper SuperNova-k and Brick I'm digging Steve "Swish" Novak the most though
wouldn't it be funny if after wasting all this time trying to find a nickname for Novak but he turns out to be Boki v2.0? ok, it'll actually be sad but aren't we getting ahead of ourselves here.
