If this team was able to win a championship with Bullard seeing minutes, then there is absolutely no reason at all to think that Novak won't also see similar time on the floor. Because the one thing that really matters in a basketball game is putting the ball in the hoop more times than your opponent does, and when you have a guy who can do that as well as Novak does, then you cover for his weaknesses any way you can.

He does have a VERY nice shot but I'll have to see him in the regular season before i can say he is "flawless."

Can't say I agree with this.. Korver has serious gaps in his game, and has not exactly been consistent with his shot recently.

Granted, Novak may peter out and never become a regular rotation player, but at least for now there is hope. I think he has the possibility of becoming better than Korver.

WTF???? You are joking right? Novak will be a better pro player than Korver......

Novak is bigger and has been better coached, AND is a better shooter......

Not flawless, but way better than all of us thought when we were wailing and gnashing our teeth on draft night.

That's why the Rockets' brain trust makes these calls, and why the rest of us sit here at our screens, safely out of the way, second-guessing and eating our tacos and b****ing.

If Steve Novak was at Club Rio instead of Stephen Jackson, we'd be talking about 5 counts of homicide charges right now instead of recklessness.

Novak doesn't fire in the air, when he shoots, he kills.

Novak doesnt look like Ashton Kutcher, is 3 inches taller, hustles more, and has better collegiate shooting numbers than Korver.

    Novak wins.

A Rocket legend in the making.

Novak's shot is hypnotic. Sure I want him to succeed, but heck I think I'd be content to just watch him shoot in garbage time.

He may not have the perfect stroke, but I'm thinking this may be whatever the perfect stroke is.
