Again look for them to announce it tomorrow. This hold back was just a formality that rice himself requested that they make sure he can play! So all you doubters who think Rice is a hazard you are wrong. Rudy and Cd have been after Rice since last season. Again enjoy the PC. Also their will be moochie news as well!
TB, Interesting that Rice would request eval? Any word on why he would come to town, then head to Miami presumably only to return a day later for press conference? More Moochie news would be good.
I was listening to 610 yesterday afternoon. A caller to the station said that Rice had something wrong with his feet (bone spurs??) and that he needed surgury. He has known about his condition since the end of last season yet has refused to take care if it. He has tried to rehab without surgury, but surgury is the only way to cure his condition. Rice is scarred of surgury. I think the Rockets will nix the deal. Rice will be with the Knicks next year! Shandon will need to look for another sign and trade deal.
while not trying to flame you (not my place. newbie too), people here don't have a lot of faith in newbies who make big annonymous statements (remember "the arbitrator", who was prob someone in dan fecals employ, around the hakeem deal time). At least you're not openly trying to decieve us about who you are and sounding official (see above example). Hope you're right though and the deals gets finalised tomorrow.
OK everyone....no need to worry now...I just got the scoop from my doorman who's friends w/ the doorman at Rice's apt bldg in Manhattan.......Rice is definitely going to be a Rocket...it appears that Mrs. Rice was frighteningly concerned that Rice would maintain a hairem of mistresses away from her in Houston while she remained in NY - but Les has given her assurances and worked it into Rice's contract that Dr. Lowe will be performing a castration next week to clear up this situation. Expect an official announcement that Rice WILL be a Rocket sometime around noon on Friday. Pls don't ask me to confirm this info, you guys will just have to take my word on it. peace.
