    If they have the oil it doesn't have to happen. If they don't it is possible.

    We have all the oil we need without Chavez. The question seems to be if the poorest can afford it.

    But if the price for that oil from Chavez is free then they can afford that oil even if they can't afford the other oil.

    Yes, but I bet there are low income assistance programs in Alaska. Also, how would this work logistically? It's not like I can go out today and choose which country I want to buy oil from.
