Tonight Frank Black is playing at the Meridian. Yesterday I made the road trip to Austin and saw him at an instore performance at Waterloo records and then again last night at La Zona Rosa. 2 great performances. Tonights show will make the 10th or 11th time I've seen Frank (including 3 Pixies performances, 1 presplit and 2 post reunion) and they have all been great. While I love the Pixies (seen them 3 times including Coachella), I'm just not really into Frank's solo stuff. It's not bad, but I really prefer the Pixies stuff. I'd still go see him live if I was in town
