[NLCS] Cards vs. Mets - Who are you rooting for?

Uh, I would be cocky if I was him.

 

I voted neither, but if I had to choose one, it would be the Cards. Screw Beltran and the Mercs.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no NLCS this year.

His last homerun was what, 3 days ago? I'm pretty sure he's still standing in the batter's box watching it.

 

I don't actually hate the Cards. They are a great rival, and I feel a great need to beat them more than other teams. But they aren't the extra annoying type of guys like were on the Whitesox, or anything. They are just a good clean rival.

Since we aren't competing against them I don't have a problem pulling for them over the Mets who I do hate.

 

Whoever wins the NL Championship will likely be swept in the WS. So yeah go Cards.

I had a feeling the Cards would be here...F the Cards...

 

Absolutely hate them both, but would rather the Cards win if I absolutely had to choose, but that is mainly because my hatred for Beltran far exceeds my hatred for Pujols.

I probably won't watch a single NLCS game this year because I can't root for anyone. I'll intently watch the World Series where hopefully Oakland or Detroit will dominate and send the NBA into focus as early as possible.

 

I'm pretty sure if we were Pujols, we would be cocky too.

 

Lance can mash...he puts his head down and trots the bases. Bagwell did the same. So did Hank Aaron.

Pujols needs to get plunked immediately.

I don't hate the Cards. Their fans are great, their team is mostly classy, and they are a great rival. As an Astros fan, I'd rather beat the Cards in the NLCS than them miss the playoffs. Muck the Fets!

 

I'm imagining Ausmus going Crash Davis & chasing him down the 1B line..."Run! you *******".

Wouldn't mind one in his ribs, either.

but finishing 1st and 2nd with the cards for the past 10 years, except 2000, and freaking Edmonds' catch in 2004 cement my hate for the cardinals too.

i know. you're right...i probably won't watch much at all. which sucks, because i hold on to post-season baseball, knowing i won't see baseball again for a while.

I'm all about the ALCS. Should be great baseball.
