Bogut out 6 to 8 weeks with leg sprain October 9, 2006 MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut will likely miss the beginning of the season with a lower left leg sprain that is expected to sideline him for six to eight weeks. Bogut was helped off the court during a team scrimmage on Saturday after banging his leg into Steve Blake's knee. He did not return to the scrimmage. Bucks coach Terry Stotts initially said the injury was not serious. But the No. 1 pick in last year's NBA draft was evaluated by team doctor John Heinrich on Sunday, and the Bucks said Monday that Bogut will undergo rehabilitation. Bogut, who grew up in Australia and was the national player of the year at Utah, averaged 9.4 points and 7.0 rebounds as a rookie last season. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_y...?slug=ap-bucks-bogutinjured&prov=ap&type=lgns
That's really too bad. I kind of like the Bucks. But after last season, I don't have much sympathy for other teams' injuries.
Untasteful humor. Well to me at least but anyways... If Bogut got hurt - what about Blake? Haha. I would imagine it would be the other way around.
what a shame. i was expecting bogut and milwaukee to have a pretty good year. i guess this will give villanueva all the stardom in the frontcourt.
Ok, How about Bogut bites the stingray and it's out 6-8 weeks? You can't take message boards too seriously, IMO.
Oh yeah, you're right. That was totally uncalled for. I know you're trying to be funny and sarcastic - so whatever. I know this is just a message board and that it shouldn't be taken too seriously - but come on. Stevie Irwin death affected a lot of people. It shouldn't be joked around therefore in my opinion it was untasteful humor. And I did say it was my opinion. I for one will miss the hell out of seeing him on TV. He was a great man, and a great entertainer. Anyways back on topic. This will sure affect the Bucks. Not a great way to start out the season for them.
