Berman showed Rice coming in. As RRN said Rice was wearing a red T-Shirt. He was all smiles.

Rice said he didn't know how his foot would respond to pounding, and will see how it feels. He wants to get it as close to 100% as possible. He looks forward to playing with the young team, and bringing his leadership, as well as his shot/post up game to the guard penetration.

Rudy and CD were both there to greet him, and were happy.

Cuttino was interviewed (from a work out, looked like he'd been working pretty hard). He said it was hard to lose Shandon, and Shandon taught him a lot, and helped him on D and O in practice. He also knew it was best for the team, and it's a business, and mentioned he and Steve had talked with Glen during the season that'd it'd be nice to play together.

No mention of Moochie at all, which tells me: A.) The Rockets have something in the works but it needs Moochie to stay unsigned to happen (have use of about 1.5 mill in cap space to grease a trade that way) or B.) Talks are REALLY slow.

A lot of good his leadership will do if his foot is in a bucket of ice for most of the game. Hey, Glenn: There is a lot of pounding in the NBA...get healed FAST! There's only room for one injured stiff on the bench and his name is Kelvin.
