It comes out tuesday. anyone else heard it yet? if you're a fan of hip hop, you'll love this album. lupe might be my favorite rapper when its all said and done. he's gonna blow up
http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=114267 I downloaded the leaked album a few months ago (as well as his Touch The Sky mixtape) and they were both amazing! I've already seen him perform live three times, so I'm defenitly going to get this album on Tuesday... This is one of the sickest verses I've ever heard: through the grim reaper sickle sharpening/ macintosh marketing/ brazilian adolescent disarmament/ israeli occupation islamic martyrdom/ and precise, laser guided targeting/ oil-for-food bartering/ terrorist organization harboring/ sand camouflaged army men/ ccf sponsoring/ world conquering/ telephone monitoring/ louis vuitton modeling/ pornographic actress honoring/ string theory pondering/ bulemic vomitting/ catholic priest fondling/ preemptive bombing and osama ain't bombing them/ they breaking in my car again before a station and over logging/ hennessey and hypnotiq swallowing, hydroponic coughing/ all the world's ills sittin' on chrome, twenty-four inch wheels/ like that/
wow i never saw that thread. HE IS GOING TO BE THE NEXT BIG THING!!! I cant wait. I downloaded the leaked album too, but he changed it up cuz it was leaked. he took some songs out. i downloaded the real album coming out tuesday....that was leaked too. i lvoe the internet
yeah, i actually heard he took some songs off the leaked album (like the Intro)...which is a shame, because that was one of the best intros I've heard on a hip-hop album. I'm just going to wait until Tuesday to hear the official version.
yes! thats exactly what i was thinking. he took that off! i think im gonna make my own mix cd with it on there
i'm definitely gettin it. the boxx plays the beat to "gotcha" (or something like that) while advertising or commercials, but they never play the whole darn song. rm95, you recommended common's album to me (though i listened to him when he was first knowned as "common sense"). so... i'm recommending this album to you. as far as hiphop is concerned, we seem to agree to the neo soul hiphop sound. reminds me of a young nas. first album is a classic, second album is better than anything out, and anything after... well...
Easily the best rap album to come out in years. Instant classic and one to remember for years and years to come. It's the only thing in my CD player...I can't get enough of it. This kid is amazing! Great, great album.
hmmm, I'll have to check it out then. Not usually my favorite genre, but it seems like everyone has only good things to say about him.
