mandatory ul/dl ratio of .3 or you get the boot. they're strict over there.... real strict. but the music available is unparalleled.
after you download a torrent, you have two options. You can either: keep the program open, which uploads the torrent to other users (this is the preferred method and what you should do...if no one did this there would be no torrents) OR you can close it out and NOT share it (*sshole method) A good ratio means that you have uploaded and shared the majority of the torrents that you downloaded.
and I'd love an Oink invite. Never gotten around to asking anyone for one (I go to YouSendIt sites) ftwb2003@yahoo.com thanks! (understandable if I don't get the invite, as you don't know me, but thanks in advance if I get it)
they're calling .3 a good share ratio? seems pretty low if you have any invites left my email is rodrick_98@yahoo.com thanks.
drewp, can i have an invite. I'm a cowboys fan and I promise to Allah/God/Buddha/Kermit the frog I will keep my ratio up to snuff. idirectorschaiR@aol.com
ooh ooh me me me.. If you got an invite left, I'd be more than happy to take it. avinash.krishnan@mail.utexas.edu
Hey DrewP -- if you got another left I'd like one. I also promise to adhere to your conditions. Thanks man -- yuhjnm12@hotmail.com Maybe i could give you one of my many pronsite passwords . . .
torrents are pretty easy to understand. basically just 1) download a software client like utorrent. 2) then go to a site like torrentz.com, and search for whatever you are looking for. 3)then click to download that torrent file. 4) after clicking the file, utorrent will automatically open the file, and begin downloading on the utorrent client. pretty simple
What kind of ratio do you have to amass 10 invites? I'm happy and lucky if my ratio is at 1.00 or higher.
No doubt...I always heard that you shoudl go for a 1:1 ratio. always make sure you upload the same amount you download. at least I dont much care one way or the other about the invite since I dont really download much of anything these days...Im normally on the providing end.
