Let's hope they don't respond. We know they're reading it but they've already had their retorts called out so they have nothing to say that wouldn't embarrass them even more.

Two points and then I'm shutting this down:

1. If someone hears a rumor and posts it, but it doesn't happen (which, let's face it, is what happens with like half of everything in life), they are absolutely destroyed by posters. On the other hand, if they simply allude to possibilities that are NEVER reported in the media, they are elevated to the status of gods. Both options are bizarre and reactionary.

2. You guys don't seem to have any concpet of the real world. Things change. Details aren't always perfect. Life can be messy. Things take time. This is all pretty normal common knowledge stuff. Yet, when it comes to the Rockets, the entire universe is black and white with nothing in between. What the hell?

Just ponder for the moment that the original poster was actually telling the truth and that JVG did say that but the problems were resolved and it all worked out ok. That is, in fact, the most likely of all scenarios. You could've just said, "Glad what your friend heard turned out to not effect the deal," but that would be too easy and diplomatic for some of you.

It's one thing when posters come in here bragging and acting like they know everything (*cough* Troy Baros *cough*), but this thread was nothing like that.

I think this thread has had enough, so I'm going to put it out of its misery.
