As I said in a previous post, there are a few in this group that are artsy fartsy and were done so purely for my benefit. The one's that are black and white were mainly because that hallway is very poorly lit. It made it tough to get well-lit photos that weren't extremely grainy. In those situations, I usually opt for black and white. I also think that bw happens to suit that style of photo really well. There are a few others like the pic of Yao blurred in the background and the Chinese media mic in the foreground, the photos of JVG, Les and Yao in the video viewfinder with them blurred in the background and the black and white's that weren't really designed to be standard media day photos. They were more my style of shooting photographs, so I indulged. Same thing with the tilted shot of Yao and McGrady. I'll evenutally add all these to my Flickr stream as well.
I'll probably try to make up a few wallpapers just based on my hi res versions of a few of the photos and with the ClutchFans.net logo on them in the next week. I already made one for myself, I must confess.
Nikon 28-70 f2.8 My friend offered to lend me his Sigma 25-70 f2.8, but I couldn't hook up with him before today. I also had my Nikon 50mm 1.8 with me, but it just moved to fast to consider a change and I didn't bring another camera body with me. I really did not want to shoot with a flash at all and I managed not to by pushing the ISO up to 1000. That was as low as I could go to keep the shutter speed above 1/60th and avoid blurring. Damn, that lens is heavy though.
bonzi has always wore no 6. he worse number 6 when he played for portland and memphis. he prolly only wore 42 because some other ***** in sacromento had number 6 already.
pics and the frontpage aren't loading for me. is that a personal problem or are they down currently? that aside, jeff/clutch thanks for all the work. this continues to be the best website on the internet, and it's not even close!
lol, yes of the "safe for work" variety this is as good as it gets. hey since you're on, are you able to get to the pictures?
Is it just me, or does Battier look at least an inch taller than Tmac? Maybe two? I know it has no bearing on his ability to play PF, but the taller the better.
And last year Stro looked virtually the same height as Tmac.. Maybe I'd give Stro an inch because of that bump on his head If Stro can play PF, then Battier can play PF
Awesome work peoples for the photos!! Man it must be awesome being at something like that!! you guys are damn lucky
1. Battier is 6-9 in shoes, he's listed barefoot, juct look at his draft measurements. 2. No T-Mac is a good 2 inches taller than Battier. Battier is about 1 foot closer to the camera in EVERY image. If you look at the games when you go in person, Battier is probably around Juwan's height, maybe a little shorter, but there's a good inch and a half to 2 inches of difference between him and T-Mac. And look at the pics again and notice how much T-Mac slumps. You see the games in person and players like Lebron, Joe Johnson, T-Mac are WAY bigger than listed, because they don't want to play PF they are listed smaller. Just like guys like KG, JO, Duncan magically shrink to 6-11 so people don't ask why they are afraid to play C.
