I guess the contest isn't a bad idea... Just wish there was a way to consolidate threads on the same topic. Pain in the butt to keep track of everything.
Pretty nice. If ROCKETS was a bit larger, then it would be awesome. I've always hated that "Lakers-Raptors-Heat-cling-to-the-body" type of uni though.
big contract????.....I wanted to get Kevin type of money.....but u know how I want to help out this team.....the Glenn Rice trade was for me......I play so much D the NBA thought it was cheap for the Rockets to have shandon....gonna miss that guy.....but now u know the nba is rigged....
No Offense to anyone who busted there butt making these uniforms but I dont like them. They looks like Toronto Raptor Uniforms. Do you guys actually think that they will change the uniform or logo anytime soon?
Top is to plain, bottoms are cool. I bet Converse would sponser these uniforms. Looks somewhat like the shoes.
Hey guys I really enjoy checking out the alternative uni's. I wish I weren't such a dinosaur with no computer skills. Back when I was in college the computers took up the whole basement of the science building and could just play pong. Anyway as someone above hinted, I think when the Rockets do change styles they will incorporate more red. Although it won't be red and gold it will have more of a tie to the Rocket's history. Could some one make up a red top and bottom traveling set for me. The numbers will have to be white because blue just doesn't pop out on a red background. Any blue on the trim should be set on white so the blue and red don't touch. On the home set, I think the Rockets went with the wide pinstripes to give them a unique look, something no other teams have. The wide spacing could be good but the width of the actual pinstripe should be smaller. This might make it more sutble but still dress up the home whites. Losing the basketball in the logo is a must. I knda like the rocket but not with the eyes and teeth. I really like the current letter style but the rocket circleing the R in the alternative logo is a little too Buck Rogers for me.
