Any song from Sticky Fingers, though Sway is probably my favorite along with Can't You Hear Me Knocking. Some great guitar work throughout that they've never recaptured without Mick Taylor. Whatever happened to him?
In the sweet old country Where I come from Nobody ever works Nothing ever gets done We hang fire, We hang fire You know marrying money Is a full time job I don't need the aggravation I'm a lazy slob We hang fire A hang fire, hang fire, hang Put It on the wire baby Hang fire, hang fire Put it on the wire baby Hang fire We got nothing to eat We got nowhere to work Nothing to drink We just lost our shirts I'm on the dole We ain't for hire Say what the hell Say what the hell Hang fire, hang fire
Damn people, at least get the song title correct... Paint it, Black I'll have to go with that one, with (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction and Honky Tonk Women running a close second and third, respectively. Angie is definitely their most underrated song. Mick has some unbelievable range for a rock singer...
Much like Pink Floyd, I hear the talent... I know they are good... but I just don't care for them. Paint It Black will always remind me of "Tour of Duty".
Too many to list, but here are a few.... It's All Over Now (written by Bobby Womack) The Last Time Let's Spend the Night Together Under My Thumb Stray Cat Blues Midnight Rambler Country Honk Monkey Man Sway All Down the Line Shake Your Hips (written by Slim Harpo) It's Only Rock and Roll Memory Motel All of Side 3 of the Love You Live LP (recorded live at the El Mocambo in Toronto) Beast of Burden Shattered Dance Pt. 2
