Ricky Davis or possibly Brandon Roy will have those matchups. James will abuse Alston...again.

Oh, I understand. I was talking about when he's sitting at home watching the playoffs on TV.

I'm a Rockets' fan first, but I'm not so sure I'd be writing the TWolves death certificate just yet. Mark Blount is a very adequate Center, Ricky Davis is a proven scorer who's been fairly focused during his time at MINN, Jaric is a nice player who creates matchup problems, SG Bracey Wright was tearing it up in the D-League, McCants and Griffin are question marks (only Tier 1 teams have little to no ?'s) KG is KG and we'll see how Foy does. The TWolves biggest strength IMHO is creating mismatches because everyone but Blount and Foy can play and guard at least 2 positions.

Welll, I wouldn't write their death certificate either- if they were in the East. After Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, the Clippers, the Lakers, and the Warriors, I just don't see them making it.

Minnesota doesn't have Brandon Roy. They traded him to Portland for Randy Foye. Bonzi and T-Mac will eat Foye's lunch.

Timberwolves don't make the playoffs. Foye will have his rookie growing paines. Mike James will let opposing pgs score go off for just as many points as he scores.

I agree. I don't see Timverwolves make it in the deep west. In the east, maybe.

Minny is talented enough to make the playoffs. I actually think most people are underrating them, but their downfall will be coaching.

Flip Saunders had his flaws (like not having the balls to tell KG what to do), but this Dwayne Casey guy is moron and has no shame. They totally tanked their season at the end and let Mark Madsen shoot 3's to no end. Now I don't watch enough Minny basketball, so my opinion is only from a small sample. But I remember watching an early game last year and Minny was in a tight one in crunch time. They call a time out to set up a play. It was a freakin post up iso for Eddie Griffin. I was laughing so hard before EG even attempted some so hope turn around or something.

Anyhow, KG's heart is bigger than his head. When the tough games roll around, he exerts so much energy that he's pooped by the 4th quarter. Their best year, Sam I Am was their floor general and made the big shots and directed where everyone had to be.

I don't think Mike James is as good of a floor general as Sam, but I do think James' scoring ability will really help out KG. They're a lot like that Boston Team a few year ago with Antoine, Pierce, Ricky Davis, and young quality rookies. That Boston, when they were on, they were really on fire. But they were a stupid bunch, and their coach was dumb too.

I honestly believe Minn has enough talent to be a championship contender, they just need to fire their coach and also fire that sleazy cheating McHale guy. So as a Rockets fan, I'm glad those guys run the T-Wolves, and the Rockets should totally whip up on them because I believe that the Rockets can play as the better team...but they better be careful because those T-Wolves have a lot of fire power.
