I guess everyone that wanted to trade Chuck and Dream should realize how much they mean to the team now and how good they are. They make other players look better cus they take the double teams and know how to play. I know we have a talented group of players but Stevie is a rookie/superstar to be and doesn't know what Chuck and Dream know yet. All along I have said keep Dream and Chuck because they deserve to retire with dignity but the truth is we still need them, too. Which I have always felt. I think when Dream comes back 100% healthy, we will be much better again. I still would like him to adjust his game to the motion offense but we definitely need his talent out there. You don't know what you got till it's gone. Hurry back, Dream! Get well soon, Charles!
And what exactly will having Dream back accomplish? We're not headed anywhere this year, so we might as well try as many new things as possible, rather than hurry Dream back and risk another injury.
Dream is still 3-4 weeks away from coming back so it does not matter when he comes back because they will be playing for pride only unless they learn how to take care of the ball and make free throws. ------------------ Houston Rockets Forever!! In Rudy We Trust
Well, I agree we probably will be in too deep a hole to go anywhere this season now and it is fine to try different combinations but you still have to try and win. Dream plans on playing next year and obviously needs to be a part of these combinations. No offense meant, but I think Dream still demands respect out on the court, and that will make it easier on the "stars to be". Under no circumstances do I want Dream coming back before he is 100% healthy. That would make no sense. My point is sometimes it is hard to see how valuable a player still is even though he may no longer be a superstar. I'll take an 80% Hakeem or Barkley over 100% of a lot of players.
