I'm sure you UT folks will love this. A friend of mine sent me this picture. I blurred the license plate to protect the innocent. It was taken on Highway 249 near Jones Road yesterday. Classic!
That looks exactly like my dad's truck, my dad's shadow, and his wife's shadow, and that's a drive he frequents. He HATES A&M though.
Pretty sure that date was photoshopped onto that pic... I saw it posted on a forum before Sept 23.. And the aggie bookstore pic. well I'm sure its already been said, but its pretty obvious that you're not going to fasten plywood to the outside of a building like that and especially not on metal window frames. the only reasonable spot to put them is inside so that if glass breaks it wont fly into the store with the wind and rain. but anyway, im no A&M fan, and its making my skin crawl defending them, so I'll stop now.
I don't think he has a bed cover, and on second thought, that looks like another guy in the passenger seat. Could still be him, though. He runs Champion Rental, which sits right off of 249 (right next to Willow Bowl).
Maybe it is an Ag in that pic, maybe its not. But I do have a friend who is an Aggie and pulled that feat off a couple of years ago. So bask...
^^^^^^ Im from TEXAS! I drive a TRUCKKK!!!! (just saying: you may want to reconsider the lettering in your sig.)
I can attest that this is real. I saw this in person. I immediately thought what the hell. And sorry Aggies, that sticker is real.
Mythbusters should cover this. I wonder where a hose would break if somebody drove away like that. It looks like that hose just snapped at some point in the hose, that seems unrealistic.
What the heck kind of tradition is this?? I saw it live during the game yesterday, and I was like, "WTF are they doing?"
Look at the hose next time you're at a gas station. They're designed to break away so that bigger problems don't occur if someone drives off with the nozzle still in the gas tank.
