There is only one way we can beat San Antonio in the playoffs and there is another way we can beat Dallas in the playoffs. I truly believe in these theories Against San Antonio Yao outplay Tim Duncan in the series. Why? I have saw many Duncan vs. Shaq playoff series. When Duncan outplayed him in 99 and 03 Spurs one. The other years Shaq outplayed him and the Lakers one. So Yao outplaying Duncan will be the reason to beating the Spurs. Against Dallas Tracy Mcgrady outplaying Dirk Nowitski. I know many of you think he did that at the 04 playoffs but we still lost. The only reason we lost that series was our inablity to play well in the 4th quarter in game 3,4, and 5. If T-MAc plays well throughout the game, and with our improving supporting cast we should be able to beat Dallas I have no doubt in my mind if we play Dallas or Pheonix in the playoffs we can beat them. But San Antonio is the wild card. Yao has not proven to be at a level of Timmy in playoff situations. If he can, ( which he might ) I think we will be in the finals and should be favorites against any Eastern Conference representitive.
or how about, if the rockets as a team score more points than the mavs or spurs we'll beat them. by the way, it's spelled "won".
seriously, nice post but who cares about when dallas plays SA. i hate those two teams w/ a vengeance, esp SA now that they have more championships than us.
i believe that we will be the best team in the league this year barring injuries or something crazy,like: david stern goes postal on jvg, phoenix learns how to play defence, stealing sunglasses becomes a trend amongst our players, a major trade helping another team like kobe going to the nuggets, or a hurricane.
