Actually, it was even worse than you describe. Spezio was on deck instead of Rolen. Why they decided to pitch to Pujols instead of Spezio i'll never understand.

I guess this is just meant to go down to the very bitter last wire strand ... man it's brutal being an Astros fan. They wear you out just listening or watching them. Still love them, nonetheless, but they drive me CRAZY man! :D

Ok, thanks for that clarification did not know for certain but sh*t, unless George Herman Babe Ruth is on freakin deck, why in the f**k do you pitch to Pooholes?

Unbelievable! I mean you would think they watched our game 5 last year and they also pitched around him two games prior. I saw that on ESPN and all I could think was Bochy is one unbelievable stupid SOB! Enough said.

Hey man, yeah it sucks that the Brewers let us down today but we didn't lose. That in itself is reason for celebration. Tomorrow is the last day of the regular season, you have to think we are going to put someone good on the mound. Who would be surprised if Oswalt played?

Two worst, most boneheaded moments this week in baseball... 1) pitching to Pujols in a late 2-1 game and 2) Cordero throwing a meatball to freakin Spiezio with a 1-2 count and a 2-0 lead late in the game.

Look like our game starts an hour ahead of St. Louis...I think it's imperative that we get off to a good start and hopefully have a lead before the Cards start their game, to put a little more pressure on them. If they see us trailing, that'll probably relax them big time...then again, they may not even give a s**t about the scoreboard since all they have to do is win.

I would not be surprised at all. I think we will be pitching by committee tomorrow. Garner gets on last shot for all the marbles so hes gonna have a real short leash for all his pitchers. Hell, Andy and Roger may pitch an inning tomorrow. That might be why Garner pulled Andy when he had only pitched 70+.

Sampson maybe 3, Oz 4 innings, and we'll see from there. I think he definitely will empty the bullpen and the bench if needed. :D

This is where we miss Backe. Sure would have been nice to have him available.

Obviously no arguments here. If the Brews can get off to a strong start say 4 to 5 runs ahead or even the longer they stay close, tied or better the more the Cards will be subconsciously scoreboard watching and maybe they make a mistake or two. All it takes is one lapsed moment in the heat of the moment. Brews got the bats we'll see how bad they wish to play spoilers tomorrow.

After todays grievous finish, at least do us the favor of showing fight and compete with the Crapholes, sh*t!

If you are the Brewers you aren't going to pitch around Pujols, you are going to let your pitchers go AT HIM to see what you have for next year.

They are not in the penant race, they don't care about the Astros.....it is our team's fault for not playing better all year.

Never leave it up to someone else, take care of your own business and this stuff doesn't happen.

Somehow I missed it. Who is pitching for the Astros Sunday, it isn't Pettite as scheduled?

Pettitte started today. Tomorrow's starter is up in the air ... could be Sampson or Hirsch or someone else.

It has to be Roy....nothing to lose, probably one and done anyway, but need to get early runs to put pressure on St. Louis.

Roy O tomorrow and Clemens in the 1 game playoff? Risky but the best shot at winning.
