Is that why the front page headline is ALL IS WELLS? He wouldn't run that headline, unless he felt it was official.

Yeah it's a headline news for CF.net for sure, but wouldn't you expect Clutch put some giant graphic feature on the front page if he feels this is the done deal?

 

Look at the pictures above the ads in the forums. Which players do you see? There are four to be exact.

 

All we know is that Wells has "agreed" to join the Rockets, look at the "ClutchFans Latest" link at the top of the page. Nothing is official until he signs (which I don't think he has yet).

I'm not saying I believe this but nothing is impossible. I'm sure Rocket fans remember the whole Stoudamire fiasco...it was almost set it stone and then if just fell apart. Hopefully this won't be the case, but its not entirely impossible for the Bobcats to offer him a deal he cannot refuse or something along those lines.

 

Bonzi is like what 30 YRS old?? I dont think Bobcats would give him that big offer for an average 30yr old player. Bonzi is joining ROX....book it.

 

Sure I see the Bonzi pic, but I still think Clutch would have spent a lot more effort to update the front page if he feels the deal is final.

 

Agreeing to join team X means barring him failing a physical, he will join team X. The only reason this isn't "official" is he needs to take his physical with the team.

 

Good point, but like you posted, it "isn't official" yet. Crazier things have happened, I'm not saying this will be one of them, but until Bonzi signs that contract...it isn't official.

Houston Chornicle article even backs that's Wells is at wedding and wont be coming to Houston until Monday! =)

 

So its a verbal agreement therefore it should still be a binding contract. Its been a couple of yrs since I took business law so Im not sure if he can just change his mind like that without any consequence.

You guys are seriously getting freaked out over nothing. The Chron and ESPN both quote his agent saying he will sign in Houston. Everyone needs to just chill.

Maybe it's just me, but I'll take the legit source over the unsubstantiated rumor every day of the week.

 

You guys are taking JVG's quote out of context. It's falling apart for JVG because he called Bonzi to let him know he will be coming off the bench. When Bonzi asked him why, JVG said he cannot make Juwan Howard come off the bench because he is one of the two people he can count on giving 100% every nite. Bonzi response to this, my sources indicate, was laced with profanity.

Wells will be here but expect him to ride the pine while Juwan destroys the Rockets yet again.

 

Did your friend really meet captain miserable the 1 n only man himself JVG? What does he smell like? How grumpy was he when he said this? Any loss of hair? Level of grumpiness will reveal how serious he was when he said it because he is always miserable by nature maybe he was playing tricks with your friend's mind. He will probably loosen up by monday we got to wait and see
