I've got gameday going on the computer with the Cards and I have the TV on the Braves. I love that I actually have an interest in these games. Woo hoo. I love my Stros.

The Braves game is crucial. A lot of the Braves players have referenced a strong desire not to have a losing season... if this score holds, they're guaranteed a losing season, and all of a sudden some of those vets lose their enthusiasm. It might influence whether Smoltz pitches on Sunday.

So, for one night... GO METS!

Just saw an article earlier today that said if the Stros were in contention for the playoffs on Sunday, Smoltz wanted to pitch.

Then again, tonight's loss may change a lot of things, like you said... we still have to win, however. A Braves team with no incentive/no veterans is still better than the Pirates team that gave us a couple of tough games.

Smoltz is such a tool. Bald headed tool. That beard is such compensation, tool.

I know I shouldn't be, but I'm still sore about the Padres pitching to Pujols last night. Just think, we could be up 1/2 game.

Sometimes I think the same way... but then I remind myself how lucky we were to get out of Pittsburgh last night with a win ourselves. So, while the Padres could've easily won, we could've very easily lost on our end.

Notice the URL in your browser address bar. It should say something like "page=64" if you are on page 64. Just change the number to the page you want to go to. Note that if you click on "last page" I don't think the actual page number will show.
