WWF wrestler Owen Hart dies at live Wrestling event after falling to his death from the arena ceiling in tragic accident.

I often remember back to this event.

I had a family member recording the Over the Edge PPV that it occured at. The only ever PPV never released by the WWF on VHS/DVD.

At first I never wanted to watch the tape, I have got it still, but have only watched it probably a total of 10-15 times.

Did Owen Hart make Darwin Awards that year? I didn't check out the book back then.

It was 7 years ago. Tupac was 10 and we had a thread about that.

I wanted to bring it up and see what others memories were of this event.

If you dont like it FatBoy - steer clear of the thread.

    Sheesh.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that MLK was slightly more important to our society than Owen Hart.

F*ck*ng WWF should have cancelled that event. Refunds. EVERYONE. More important to The Blue Falcon (was that his name) and his family, they should have stopped the entire thing. I always wondered why they didn't. WWF sucked *ss for not stopping it. Anyway, that WAS 7 years ago. :p
Dude. He was right on the money with that response to A-Train. Of course, I don't know if he knew A-Train was joking or not... but I laughed at both responses. It's entertaining, Fatty... rock on.

Yes, but I don't think anybody has to consult you on how long it is appropriate to remember somebody's death. Is there an official rulebook on these sorts of things? When can we stop remembering Eddie Guerrero's death? one year later?? two??

Please advise us, oh wise one...
