3 RBI's for Biggio last night. The game hasn't passed Biggio by. :D

I can understand some of you doubting what Biggio has left. But you have to remember the diligence this guy has for the game. Do you really think he'll go all off-season without working on hitting that outside splitter? That's killed me all season, watching him chase one after another.

BUT, I find it hard to believe that Biggio wouldn't recognize it, and even harder to believe that he won't work on it. I doubt he wants to be a charity case, so *when* he's back next year, expect him to play at least as well as this year, if not better.

By the way, he's still not half bad defensively for a 40-year-old 2nd baseman, as well.

Bidge has shortened his swing over time due to age and injuries(his wrists have slowed down) and now just can't deal with that pitch....He absolutely needs to lay off it.

I love the guy, but he hasn't been able to hit the low-and-away slider/splitter/whatever for a while now. It's not gonna change next year.

And, he's not half bad, but with his decreasing range and arm strength on some plays, he's looking like he's worse than at least 15 in the MLB, which puts him below average (among starters at the position)
