this is crazy stuff, folks. i am speechless for once. i never completely give up, and i never quit watching, but not in my wildest dreams did i think that we would have a realistic shot at this in the final week of the season. this team is just magical since the arrival of roger. also, even if we fall short on this run, i think this is doing wonders for our outlook next season. it should take so little (one or two big bats) for us to be the perennial winner of this awful division. playoffs are not, i'm loving the way we're finishing this season. go stros
You're telling us? I half assed jokingly bet T Rex that if we won 84 games, we'd make it. When it made our record 19-10, I figured it was doable. But then we stunk it up again. So six games ago, I kept laughably saying "12-0 and we're going!" Knowing damn well that one more loss screwed me, the Astros, and my bet. Suffice it to say, I still say one more loss does us in, but, MAN. It is still fun watching our team possibly get there.
