Spandex Power Strikes: Aussie Women Takes FIBA Gold

    Funny how it's similar to the men's FIBA results. The powerhouse team USA lost in the semis, then the team that beat them went on to get killed in the finals.

    Maybe beating USA took such a physical toll on Greece/Russia so that they went on to lose?


    On a sidenote, I hope the victory of the Aussie women scientifically proves once and for all tight spandex uniforms helps women's team win games.

    ...or Aussie women overcome spandex to take FIBA gold.

    Apparently girls are dropping out of sports because they get too self-concious wearing spandex or similiar tight fitting uniforms. Those type of unis are being phased out. The Aussie women's b-ball league have alreay ditched the spandex.
