Clinton gets $2 billion in pledges to fight world woes

Is it possible for a former president to potentially achieve more in his post-presidency life than in-office? Is it simply a matter of breaking off those 'constraints' that come with serving as an elected official?

This is an enormous amount of money raised that could do a lot of good. I am glad Clinton is using his 'free time' and his natural skills to do what he's doing, it could go a long way towards 'fixing' our image abroad...
