We are losing some of the greats of the game each year. Charles this year, Dream the next, Malone and Stockton will be soon to follow. There are many good young talents in the league, but who will be the next wave of superstars? Keep in mind, superstars do more than just dunk or make nice passes. Forget about who ESPN considers (overhypes) as stars, think about superstars who are able to carry their teams to championships, make the big shot, or remind us of some the greats we have been accustomed to watching through our years. Lets start with talking just about the center position. Shaq? Duncan, if he moves to the 5? Zo? Which center will be THE dominant inside force for the next 5-10 years?

I vote for Duncan because he has such variety in his game already, and he still has time to learn more. He has already won a ring, but it will be different once the Admiral leaves. Duncan will have to play D on the opposing center and bear the pressure of being a defensive presence as well as an offensive machine. I think he has the tools and, once he gets a little bigger and stronger to play against the big men, he may remind us of what Dream gave us throughout his illustrious career.

    I'll miss you Charles.

Playing opposing 4's and then having to play 5's is totaly different just wait till people as tall as him and stronger than him start covering him and he covers them, lets see how effective he is then. David is Tim's MVP with David Tim doesn't have to worry about defence other than weak side help I would be VERY surprised to see Tim be any more succesful than Alonzo Mourning, but I have been wrong before. (I thought Ryan Leaf would be better than Peyton Manning...oops)

If we're talking about most dominant, it's gotta be $haq. There's just nobody left in the league with the combination of strength and speed that Hakeem once had to outplay him. Whether Duncan can develop into that type of player is open to debate though.
