The album cover for the 'The Information' will be blank graph paper, and all the images will be printed on stickers, which you can assemble into whatever design you like. I have "Odelay" and "Mellow Gold", I actually havent even heard "Guero" although I liked the first single off of it. I'm undecided if I'll get that and his new one.
i didnt like guerro, but the stuff ive heard off the new record is really good. ill definately get the sticker cd - thats really cool. i wonder if its all scientology propaganda? i remember a couple years ago seeing some blurb from tom cruise in rolling stone talking up sea change and i remember thinking "well at least he has decent taste in music" than about a month later i found out beck was a scientologist, further confirming my belief that tom cruise is a tool and also tainting my beck fandom...(huh huh, i said taint).
Awesome idea with the cover and stuff. I have all of his records, except the last one, for which I thought it lacks a bit the last bite. Sea Change is amazing but it always brings me down a bit. Hope he finds back to champion form with this one.
I just picked up The Information earlier today. Listening to it now..liking what I hear. I actually never got Guero, should I pick it up sometime?
I'm an admitted old fart who knew next to nothing about Beck, never even heard Odelay but I somehow got Guerro and really liked it. (is that a recomendation?)
