My Doctor told me that when you hit 30, you can really make sure you are living a healthy lifestyle for the long term. He thought 30 was a good age to get rid of bad habits from our 20s and to rededicate to getting into shape and eating healthy and that would prevent lots of problems that you could have in your 40s and 50s.

That's what I'm doing. My wife laughed when I asked for a pair of running shoes for my bday.

    30. If I weren't partial to it, I'd give my left nut to be 30 again. Enjoy!

I used to think turning 30 (which I do in 1.5 years) was gonna be the end of my life...

until I realized that its just the prime... in my 20s i was either:
    a. poor and in school
    b. struggling to start a career and starting my life
    c. just beginning to make a little money.

    Now - as I get near 30, I'm:
    a. established in my career
    b. making enough money to be comfortable
    c. still single

These are about to be the best times of my life... I look forward to being 30... single... and living life to its fullest!

Good points, that is exactly how I am. I can do a lot more things now. Not to mention, since when did 30 become old? Aren't most NBA, NFL, and MLB players at their PRIME exactly at that age? This is a good time, I have a good 10 years until I turn 40 and my life is effectively over.
