I'm just guessing that the NFL did not want to associated with a movie like AGS. Cheating owners and players, players admittedly on steroids, and the partying with women and drugs was probably slightly over the top as well.

The worst sports movie is that basketball version of Remeber the Titans. That movie has the worst directing, acting and editing ever!

Jerry Mcguire used real football team names and logos (Arizona Cardinals, they are probably cheapest in terms of value of the brand name in NFL...)

I'll put a second vote for Juwanna Man, I saw that in a plane and wanted to leave the theatre.

I also fell asleep during Blue Chips, what was that movie about again? In basketball movies, aren't you supposed to have some scenes of people playing basketball????

Mighty Ducks I and II were pretty good.

    Mighty Ducks III sucked ass.

BASEketball is one of my favorite movies.

I agree completely about Any Given Sunday sucking, Foxx was pretty decent, Cameron Diaz was laughable and Al Pacino was blatantly miscast and couldn't do anything with his role. I thought Lawrence Taylor and James Woods saved it somewhat.

C'mon, that movie wasn't that bad. Now Major League II. There's a truly horrific baseball flick.

Actually, Foxx was a decent high-school quarterback in Terrell, TX. So, while I'm sure he needed some pointers, he has played the position before. I didn't think Any Given Sunday was that bad. I felt most of the problems were associated with Oiver Stone's direction, which I normally love, but didn't fit a sports movie well.

I'll admit it: I love The Replacements. Realistic? No. Intelligent? No. Meaningful? No. But dang, if it doesn't make me laugh a lot!

Little Big League was a snoozefest. Caddyshack II (does that even count as "golf") was an abomination. But, for my money, there is no worse sports movie than "For Love of the Game" with Kevin Costner. Ok, Kevin, we get it: you like baseball, and wish you were good enough to make it in the majors. Let it go.

I agree. I thought Any Given Sunday was absolutetly terrible. No entertainment value whatsoever. There's got to be at least one worse sports movie, though.

I actually did kind of like The Replacements, though.

The worst movie I ever seen of sports, is one from Mexico, I think you guys didnt see it, the most of the movies made in Mexico are very good, but this sucks.

Its about a soccer team of children, that suppose to be comedy, but its very boring.
