So, in your mind we should ignore bin Laden, because if we kill him it'll make things worse? Just when I thought I might have heard everything, some other goofy **** comes down the pike. With all due respect.

I'm saying it may solve all of our thirsts for justice and vengeance but may mean little in helping our cause in the war on terror while possibly creating a worse situation. I didn't say we should ignore him. You said that.

i'm just saying you keep saying its under oath like it makes the bj 1000 times as bad

the guy had consentual bj.. thats bad considering he's married but not as bad that its in the workplace because no one saw it ayway.. then he lied about it which I can undertand.. and lying about it under oath doesn't make it any much more worse IMO..

if you break it down to pieces, is your problem the bj, lying, or lying under oath?

The whole thing was a ploy by republicans to humiliate Clinton. What sexual harassment? That b!tch just wanted to get attention and make some money for herself.

The republican congress refuse to bring Bush under oath for really serious issues, such as $400+ billion dollars spent on an illegal war, such as 2700 lives lost for Bush's personal revenge on Saddam's attempt on his father's life, such as illegal wiretaping, such as revearling covert CIA agent status.

The republican congress is a disgrace. We should send them all to Iraq or Afghaneistan.

I don't expect anyone to be completely honest about their sex lives. That's just the way it is.

My bad. I disagree that it would create a worse situation, but it is an honest disagreement, and you may have a point. (although I disagree! ;) )

The problem is lying under oath. That DOES make it worse. If he lied to the American people about it, big deal. It's just another politician lying. They all do that.

I don't understand why it's so hard to understand. If you lie under oath, it doesn't matter WHAT you were lying about, you're in serious trouble. Otherwise, what's the point of swearing in a witness?

again...it's not the bj that's at question.

when you get sued in a sexual harrasment case, particularly by a subordinate, your sexual history with subordinates is INTENSELY RELEVANT. lying to save your ass is a bad thing. lying under oath to save your ass is illegal. lying under oath to saver your ass after you've sworn to protect and defend the constitution as the chief executive is a really bad thing.

i don't expect much from people anyway. it doesn't mean i don't think we shouldn't attempt to be better than that. somehow i don't think that would provide you much comfort if your wife found herself the vicitim of sexual harrassment.

It's kind of funny to see MadMax get his blood boiling. We can all see how evil this D&D is. :D But it's the only place help me endure the offseason.

I wish you wouldn't post things like that, Max. You're one of the few consistently steady voices of reason in D&D. RM95 can take care of himself. Your presence raises the level of discourse here. Don't bring it down by leaving. if someone ticks you off, just ignore them. It works.
