I just read an interview with Shaq in a German magazine (among other things, they mention that he spent several years in Germany when he was growing up, I didn't know that). He was asked if Kobe, Shaq and Phil is the "perfect team". He said, no, the perfect team would be PG Scottie Skiles, SG Reggie Miller, SF Cedric Ceballos, PF Chris Webber, C Shaq. Then he was asked if that is the best team of all times.

He answered "No, I don't belong there yet. That would be Pistol Pete Maravich, Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Karl Malone and Hakeem Olajuwon".

I guess he still respects Hakeem a lot...

Scott Skiles? Cedric Ceballos? Maybe Shaq will retire soon and become GM of the Utah Jazz.

As much as I want to hate SHaq, his respect for Hakeem has always been great. After Shaq's rookie year, he spent some time in Houston playing at 2ndB with Robinson and Hakeem. Hakeem lived down the Hall from a friend near there. I eventually moved in there, but seeing those 3 walk around together was pretty cool.

With Robinson? I thought he hates Robinson. Anyway, I envy you for seeing 3 of them together. They can form a tag team to play in "Spcae Jam" or fight ETs.

I guess Shaq's favorite team is now Raptors, with "half-man half-amazing" and a center who he likes, and who won't give him much trouble or trash talk. Lakers is only his 2nd favorite because of Kobe.

    I found the following on Bskball.com Raptors column(relevant to Shaq&Hakeem). I also found a
mention of Clutchcity.net in it. I am kinda lazy to read through the entire column, but the
    following caught my eye.

Here is the link to the column

The mood is bright in Toronto. Shaquille O'Neal is in the T-dot with the man dem doing the Caribana
celebration thing. When asked if the Raptors had a chance to compete against the champion Lakers
Shaquille said, "No! Who do they have playing center?"

"Hakeem Olajuwon", the reporter informed him.

    "They signed Hakeem?"

    "Yes".

He thought for a minute. "Maybe they can play with us..."

Here's that mention of CC.net that AB mentioned:

"In a recent letter about my response to a Houston team column, posted by its writer Rocket Guy, my article was broken down from someone claiming to be a representative of Clutchcity.net. He commented that Vince Carter would be gone in a year. He also commented (after insisting that Olajuwon was a hindrance) that, "First off he's (Olajuwon) just using the Raptors to get more money from us...anyways even if he does leave somewhere he'll only be remembered as a ROCKET".
Sounds like a cross between a whine and a last gasp to me. That would be two feet to pull out of your mouths. My only fear is that it can't be
helped from happening again without wiring your jaw shut and wrapping a chastity belt around your face. If this writer did in fact represent Clutchcity.net then he did so by resorting to off topic nonsense to make up for their lack of insight. He had some points but they were lost in the garbage. About my article he wrote the following. "...thanks for writing it anyhow. It gave us all a lot of laughs at clutchcity.net"
Guess who's... ah, that's too easy."

You know, if that guy wasn't sure if the message he got was from someone representing CC.net, it wouldn't have been to hard for him to come over to CC.net and ask on the BBS. Instead he tried to insinuate that it was him vs "Clutchcity.net". This is why I lose respect for some of those writers over there, they don't even bother to check up their facts.
