With free-agent Marc Jackson seemingly caught in the Warriors' matrix, several teams have contracted former Jazz center Olden Polynice, according to a league source. Polynice, still considered useful, has talked to the Blazers, Pacers, Knicks and Heat about a possible return for the veteran's exception. Sonics free-agent Jelani McCoy has also has received interest from the Rockets and Heat. The Blazers are also willing to trade for the big man they need. The biggest target right now seems to be the Wizards' Jahidi White. As Insider first reported on Tuesday, the Wizards are shopping White in return for a player in the last year of his contract and/or draft picks. The Mavericks have dropped out of the running, but sources say the Rockets and Sonics remain very interested.
