This has pretty much been a dominant performance by Ohio State, they are clearly head and shoulders above Texas. We saw the 2 best teams in the nation dominate today. Notre Dame and Ohio State are the best 2 teams, and they are going to battle at the Fiesta Bowl for all of the marbles in January. Brady Quinn vs. Troy Smith lookin forward to it. But for now I'm just glad UT has been whipped.

Just got back from the UH-Tulane game, didn't see most of the game, but I'm surprised at the score.

I really thought UT would win.

Cougs looked good tonight. Assuming we take care of biz against Grambling St. we have a chance to go into the tough Ok St/Miami games 3-0

I didn't read it till just now. It was painfully obvious that Texas isn't the same team without VY. I would a took that bet all day long.

    My thoughts:

Colt Mccoy looked like crap, that interception was just ridiculous, he maybe completed 2 passes that werent screens.

Losing the cb hurt us, osu threw maybe one pass where a defender was even close the the receiver.

but mostly i put this on the offense and colt.

I can't wait for OK State.

If we take care of business with Grambling its going to be a near sellout for OSU.

Miami will wax us probably. But meh, anything's possible.

Reminded me of the Houston Texans offense last year. Won't let Colt thrown downfield, not enough confidence in him. Screens and short passes and running/option plays just to keep the pressure off the QB. Its understandable tho cause he's a freshman.

    Of course.

Coogs romped, if the 1st team didn't get pulled in 3rd Q we might have hung 60+ on em.

From what I saw of the game, McCoy didn't look that bad. He just isn't ready yet. But he has the ability; I think experience will make him a good QB.

    The interception was horrible, though.

Also, the loss of Vince Young (and not having two of your starters in the secondary) is way too much for Texas to overcome and just 'pick up where they left off'. You just lost too much.

Interesting game. Not as thrilling as I'd have hoped to see, though.

These same UT "homers" correctly called the UT vs. USC and Young vs. Leinart debates while most "objective" fans were calling them "homers" at the time. So, whatever criteria you use to determine that someone's a "homer", you'll have a hard time making a logical case against most of the posters in this thread.

Secondly, who called you an idiot?
