Looking at Roy's stats - I have to say that if the Astros hadn't given him the Clemens treatment for most of the year, he'd be in contention for the NL Cy Young. One of these years he's gonna get it. And a no-hitter or two.

As far as the series goes, I hope they sweep but I'll bet on 2 out of 3.

WWW. Cards lose two out of their next three and we'll be 5 games out of the division by Sunday night. With 7 left against the Cards, we'll take 6 of those and end up winning the division.

I really wanted to put something like that in my initial post but I decided to stay with tradition and not comment. IMO TBA is better than anyone we have in the 4th or 5th spot.

WWW baby! I have faith and I am praying REALLY hard that TBA will be Chris Sampson. They need to stop jerking his chain.

I would hope Garner start Sampson too.

He is more experienced and consistent.

Especially his innings/BB ratio is great in minor leagues.(125.2 Inns/14 BB only)

The Astros are only seven out of the Division lead, only five out in Wildcard. Could be a wild finish. If everybody goes cold and the the Astros get hot, still possible. Twenty-three games left! Who wants it?

We need a sweep and I see why we shouldn't...I expect Biggio to have a day off one or two days this series...

I just met Bagwell today at the Houstonian. Shook his hand, exchanged a few words. Something I will remember for the rest of my life. I don't know if I believe in fate or stuff like that, but I'm going to say that this is a sign for me.

    I still believe.

Sweeeeeet. As awesome as Biggio is/was, Bagwell is Mr. Astro in my book. '91 thru 2001 were something special to behold. You'd be hard-pressed to find more than five 1B in the history of the game to dominate his league more than Jeff Bagwell did. He's in a class just below Gehrig, and there are precious few that can say that.
