I haven't had protien powder + water/milk since I was 15. I've learned over the years that you can mask the taste with just a little fruit/yogurt/and honey/ice. Use your blender bud. However, some brands can upset your stomach. Op. Nu. 100% Whey gives me the most bang for my buck without making me feel quessy afterwards.

ON is terrific. What online sites do you recommend, percicles? Vitamin Shoppe sells it for around $28 (5 lbs.).

ON 100% whey is the best bang for the buck. If you like Muscle Milk 24Hour fitness has it on sell for $19.99. Don't know how long the sale is going to last though.

You think so? Which flavor? I actually like their chocolate. Most vanilla drinks taste like glue to me, so I never buy anything but chocolate. I just like Isopure because it doesn't feel like you're trying to drink chunks.

I have had various shakes over the years and they all were terrible. Some were better than others but it was like choosing the best of the worst. I always enjoyed the pre-made shakes cause they had a less chalky taste but they are more expensive. It was also very convienent to pop one open while leaving the gym.

As far as supplements, you mentioned NO2. I would recommend that you try this at least for a 21 day cycle as recommended. I recommend this to anyone who asks. Also spend the extra few dollars and buy the book. I always leave the gym feeling like I could walk right back in and hit the weights again. You are never sore and your muscles always feel tight. The book recommends you can take creatin with your NO2 and I did for a while. My stomach couldnt handle it though so I stopped.

    Good luck!

I usually get the strawberry flavor at bulknutrition. 48.99 plus 5 shipping for a 10lb bag.

Mix it with OJ and you won't taste a thing.

I've never tried that, mixing with OJ. I always mix milk with chocolate type of flavors(I've tried mixing strawberry with milk *SICK*).. How is it drinking shakes with OJ? How does the powder affect the texture.. gritty? Atleast when theres chunks in chocolate shakes with milk, its not THAT BAD.. does it still has that citrus flavor? I'd prefer to chug a cup of plain OJ than plain milk anyday but with protein shakes I'm not sure =/

With the ON whey you barely taste the powder and it's just a tad thicker OJ. I don't even notice it. Strawberry-Orange flavor? Not bad at all :)
