I'm in the process of remodeling my house, and am painting just about the entire enterior and exterior. I just got done with one room, and sick of rolling and the overall time it takes to paint. I've read that sprayers really help reduce time and look better overall. I'm ready to bite the bullet buy a sprayer if it seems like it's worth it.

Has anyone ever used one of these? Feedback on painting interior walls, doors, folding doors, etc, and exterior would be great.

I have a compressor, so I can go air or electric. It doesnt matter as long as I get the best results.

    Thanks in advance.

I got one for here at the bar to stain our deck and it worked pretty well. Only thing that i can see being a problem is if you are doing anything outdoors and the wind is blowing. It can be a hassle to get an even coat.

I haven't tried it indoors though.

If it's one of those cheap little ones built for personal use (like the little Wagner one they advertised a lot), they're nearly worthless.

Now if you get a professional gun...I used to use one in construction and rented one (Ace) a couple of years ago to paint our storage room and they're awesome.

You will need to get a feel for it; in a flash they can spray enough to make some pretty nasty runs. Probably need to thin the paint and test on some old cardboard.
