get outta here with that ****. the guy didn't do ANYTHING. period. no pot in his system, gun is legally registered, and what small amount of weed was in the car was already claimed by harris..... so why is he being suspended? so that jackasses like yourself can be appeased.

basically, this guy is being suspended for staying out late and hanging out with questionable characters (if that). but aggies such as yourself will take any possible jab at UT, regardless of it's basis.

Didn't Ramonce actually get kicked off b/c he didn't make the grades to stay on the team? He wasn't going to be academically eligible so he had to go to a school where he could play. So technically he wasn't kicked off for his transgressions with the ~5 lbs of weed.

that would be seperate from this situation. good job distracting though.

anyhow, i am glad things turned out to be much better than they were appearing to be. granted, the situation still wasn't good, but it could have been a lot worse. hopefully, it will be a learning experience and we will move on.

 

He didn't do anything out of the ordinary for any other person, but for a player to get caught in the situation he was in a week before the tOSU game warrants a suspension IMO. Glad to see T. Brown was clean.

Rocketeen- Please do a little research before you start babbling, if you want to have any type of credibility. All you're doing right now is making yourself seem like another Aggy-homer who will take any shot at UT.

RT was excused from spring practices so he could study and bring his grades up. I don't think he was academically eligible so Mack gave him he spring and summer off. He DID NOT get kicked off for his grades, he got kicked off for having 5 lbs. of weed on him. RT also had a prior incident a couple months before so Mack felt it was better for the team and RT to dismiss him from the team.

 

So you're saying that they should have reinstated him to the team after he was kicked off for being academically ineligible in order to kick him off for having a backpack full of weed after he had already been dismissed from the team?

Yaa, that makes sense. Maybe USC should admit OJ Simpson to graduate school so they can expel him for murder.

All you have to do is google something to figure something out, all you're doing is making yourself look like another homer-Aggy that bashes everything UT does. Having incorrect posts that just bash make you lose credibility, just like it did for bigtexxx and reggeitodd and some would say the same for IC2000 but at least he sticks around the thread when he posts.

Brown dismissed RT from spring practices so he could concentrate on school and bring his grades up. He was probably academically ineligible, but that is not the reason why Mack kicked him off the team. This was RT's second incident involving police, he had 5 lbs of weed in his car, and Brown deemed it approriate to just kick him off the team, and I'm glad he did.

So technically...he was kicked off for his transgressions with the 5 lbs. of weed.
