    Barry Bond's stats

The guy hit number 730 tonight, meaning he only needs 25 more to tie O'Henry.

If he hits 5 more this year, all he needs is 20 next year.....I think he just might do it...cheater or not.

Unfortunately, I think he will. I know he's talked about hanging it up after this season but I don't see him doing it.

If he hits 10 more this year, all he needs is 15 next year.

I really don't think he will though.

When did Bonds play for the Astros, Texans, or the Comets?

If he comes back next year, I think it will be as an AL player (possibly as a DH). The NL crowd is pretty brutal and I don't think he'll get the same (bad but to a lesser extent) reception in AL stadiums. Plus I think he'll get more interest from AL teams than NL teams. So overall I think there is an 80% chance of him coming back and 100% chance of him breaking the record if he does.

I took my son to see Barry last week and it was brutal. The bad thing is that some of the swearing is not necessary with a stadium containing lots of kids.
